About Me

I believe true learning happens when we create an experience that allows the learners to take information and apply it in authentic practice scenarios to build meaningful skills.

My process

Take a look at a snapshot of my design process

Analyze

Utilizing Design Thinking, I identify the problem, the root causes, ask the 5 Why's and complete an Action Map.  I then create a specific, measurable, and attainable business goal. I develop ideas for training and non-training solutions.

plan

Next, I create a project outline, a low fidelity prototype and get feedback. I then develop a storyboard, visual mockups and an interactive high fidelity prototype. This is an iterative and collaborative process.

design

Once I have the plan, I start designing the learning solution. Whether it is a course, job aide, presentation, live training or video, the goal is to allows the learners to learn in authentic practice scenarios to build meaningful skills.

launch

Now, it is time to launch the training. Since learning is an ongoing event, I manage the learners and make sure they are engaged and active through the process. This is includes overseeing all the learning solutions.

evaluate

After the training, we need to assess the data. I use Kirkpatrick's Models of Evaluation to evaluate the success of the training. As we collect data, we are able to develop additional training solutions to address any issues.
